This place is great... when the fires were happening all around me, (wild fires), I had people ready to send me care packages in case my stuff got burnt... pretty amazing. (Avashai, to name just one)

Outnfree, who ever said you had to be a JW to help out. Out siders, and apostates and other religious orders will help and seem to have felled that order to some great extent already. No wonder they call Texas the Yellow Rose......I love roses and yellow is one of my favorites.

Orangefatcat would love to help, but the nearest thing I can do is let you know that my thoughts are with you Brenda and your Cousin. Blessings to you both. I do hope your sister gets the medical help she needs soon.

Rhonda -- She's doing MUCH better. Her outlook has improved drastically! She has FOOD!!!! She has hope! She is astounded at the support I was able to muster up from the wonderful people here.
A WARM THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO PM'D ME, E-MAILED, PHONED, AND VOLUNTEERED! You are WONDERFUL!!! GENEROUS!!!! GOOD-HEARTED!!!
BUT, someone had volunteered to drive her around to medical appointments, and I haven't heard back from them since I e-mailed details about where my cousin needs to be tomorrow. You know who you are, so please, if you see this, get in touch with me via PM or e-mail tonight. If you are unable to drive her, she may be able to get a ride TO the tests early tomorrow AM, but will still need a ride home afterwards.
An old friend of hers came and tried to help her get the van working, which it did for a little while last night. But when she drove it to Wal-Mart today, it died in the parking lot. That friend is with her as I write and they are going to the Wal-Mart parking lot and hoping to get it around the corner to a garage. Where it will now sit until her almost-ex pays for the repairs.
And, just to let my "courier" friend know, she's working on those papers, too. She will probably have them for you on Thursday or Friday.
Oh, and Nina and Chris? I'll be sending you a PM in another minute.
