When I was a JW back in the 1970s ("pre-Armageddon"), there were a few apostates back then that we all knew about. Back then, they were looked upon merely as another sign of the "times of the end" and were largely ignored.
The fact that these boards and apostate websites are regularly monitored is testament that the WTBTS is now more concerned with losing control over their membership, and are less concerned with the supposed imminence of Armageddon.
An elder still brings the mags to me. Last week I brought up UN involvement and told him of this website. He acted surprised. He even took the printout of Randy's UN info to my surprise. His wife wasn't happy. I told my wife he will either get in trouble with the info or a couple of elders will show up on my doorstep to ask me if I believe the Borg is God's sole channel. Keep you informed of developments. I really have love and caring for this couple.
Isn't it ironic that the Borg doesn't want the brothers and sisters to read the boards but yet they do it to monitor!!! I am wondering, its a technicality but shouldn't they be DF'd for reading apostate material, as they would get influenced??? I wonder how many brothers do they have doing this type of work??? do they have just a department at the WT HQ just for that??? Any light on this???

Just like the QFR a few years ago, asking how they could label this and that movie or band "bad influence", "demonic", "pornographic" etc. - when they were not supposed to watch these things or listen to them?
The reply was, that they wrote according to how the movie or band etc. had been commented upon by US News & World Report, New York Times, Time etc. ..............
I wouldn't doubt that they have someone trying to get info on the people that visit here or to get some insider info on the silent lambs activity , these people are hypocrites to the core and have no regard as to personal privacy or freedoms . To them it's about control .
Big brother is watching 1984, I guess the WTS could be called INGSOC, which would be more appropriate. they keep monitoring our very moves.....

Yes, the borg would like nothing more than to shut our mouths. We are causing them quite a lot of ummmm -- shall we say -- discomfort ...? Their plan to alienate us and "force" us back into submission just doesn't work any more. We have our own support network (thanks to the internet) which replaces the dysfunctional borg network that they took away from us. (We'll let them think they took it ... hehehe!!!) We have tools of survival, which really irks the hell outta them! They positively squirm now when they hear the word "Apostate" ... We are making our presense known!!!

I don't understand what the fear is that some have about the elders/ Witness's peeking inn on whats going on in here. Whats the worse that could happen they bother you and you sue their ass's off?
