  BTW, I forgot to say tht the population of an Internet message board is a good filter for measured "intelligence" (even though we sometimes don't act like it!:) so we as a population are probably not statistically relevant.

  as i mentioned, bradley, bad week. i apologize. i figured it was too late to erase my caustic post or else i would have deleted it.

  though i do feel justified in being bristly at your first comment. i know the spirit in which it was intended to be taken though and i'm sure you didnt really mean it to be offensive.

  you know, i understand that comment was made tonuge in cheek...bradley is far too intelligent to say that and mean it.

  ....but it really, really does bother me, and if you want to know the truth i dont post much on the "meatier" threads on this board in part because of that mentality.

  however, i won't hijack this thread any further, and i apologize for leading it off-topic.

  fwiw, we usually never know the positive effect of our posts, and, quite honestly, many of the best things I've learned (and continue to learn) on this db have been from the female perspective...Men are from Mars, and all that. Chin up, dear lady

  Something I'd be curious to determine, but I see no effective way to do it: Do Witness kids tend to be left-brain-dominant?

  I have a suspicion that there are more literarily-advanced JW kids than artistic...but it's just a suspicion.

  You have to be joking Tink! WTH? I'm sorry you're having a tough week but so am I! I will never leave the tougher issues to the boys....They can try and kiss my ass or beat it but I don't give up easily. They're not very scary when you look at them up close Tink!

  I think Witness kids are forced to think in a differant way as children. They are no brighter than other kids. I do think they are stronger because of adversity. I think they are tougher and not necessarily brighter.

  true craig. but i have been told on several occasions that it was a shame to argue with someone as "cute" as me. (god, i HATE that word.) and i really find that very insulting and would rather not hear it.
