Who knows Elsewhere, maybe this guy is teetering on the edge. Watchtower burnout is running rampant in the borg.
We were all there once, never forget. We may be welcoming him to the board someday.
YOU'RE SCREWED BUDDY!!! BEST BE LOOKING ANOTHER JOB!
Que the twilight zone theme.
Maybeeeeeee...... some higher power maneuvered you there so that you could plant doubts in your bozz's head so he can begin his journey out of the org. Sounds like he isn't very strong anyway. Does he use the same restroom you do? Leave a copy of Crisis of Conscience in there. I mean, honestly, who of you would not have picked up C of C and glanced through it? If he confronts you, tell him you just received it from a relative or someone and find it fascinating reading. Then maybe he'll rush to his computer and order a copy of his own from Barnes and Noble because his curiosity will be burning a hole in his brain.
Okay, I'm kidding. It's a nice fantasy though.

Flying,
Maybe I was put there to "win him over without a word".
I think it'll work out fine, Elsewhere. Actually, to me it shows the degree of your freedom from the borg, that you could speak so freely.
My hope is that the boss might be curious as to WHY you left... and you might be able to dangle a tidbit somehow.

Elsewhere,
I don't know if you meant that to be funny but I aming anyway. How many times did we hear that one?? But you know, you might just win him over if he sees how happy and well adjusted you are.

Boy thats really unluck to have yourn boss as a dub, I know that at my work there were a few dubs, I tried to keep it secret, the problem was that I was seen by one of them at an assembly and the word got out. They were always on my case for not letting the other co-workers know that I was a JW at the time, now that I'm DA'd they run away practically, and they even tried to make me look bad in front of other non-JW workers. One of them even phoned my ex-wife to check up on me while I was seperated to get more information on me and my status as a dub.

Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo
He loves me, I love you
Therefore, vicariously he loves you!
I can make a Mr. Hankey too! (Pffffft)
Sorry Dan! I couldn't resist!
As a boss I think you did the right thing. Keep religon out of the workplace. I recomended a witness for hire who I had known all my life as a JW. To this day he has never played that witness game and ran the other way. Every once an a while he even stops by and say hello. Another on came up to me and said that he would have to keep our coversation to a employer employee relationship I said no problem " Get back to work" lol.
