shamus said it costs too much money to keep the corporation going, you see.. they need more effective ways to market their product.

Singing Man,
The Mormons do practice shunning just like the JWs.
Mouthy,
Havent they been on the Englands T.V for years ???..
No, I have never seen a J W commercial or heard of one in the UK . I would guess they would only do this if they got it free or very cheap as charity. Do not forget that in the 1920's /1930's they had radio WBBR, their own radio station in the USA so they are not strangers to the airwaves.
If they ever come around here I would complain to the advertising standards authority.
flower, the station that is airing this crap should have copies of the pictures used in Watchtower literature that depicts the real love this cult has.
yea i'm tempted to send the station an email telling them a little more about the 'love' taught by jw's.

i disagree, i've never heard of Pocket Books or McGraw-Hill brainwashing people into anything or guilting people into disowning their relatives. Youre right though its all about the benjamins baby. flower
So, from now on, TV is not "the Satan's box send to every home" anymore. Isn't it? What a Cunning and Greedy Slave

Good grief, I don't know how I missed this before... commercials... we definitely need to write the stations broadcasting this drivel. Like SFJim show the absurdness of the pedophile protecting borg advertizing "loving families"..YUCK
I saw this commercial for the first time last night. While they're correct that love does build happy families, they err in implying that the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses does anything to support the building of loving, happy families. What a bait a switch!
I've never seen one of these commercials.
Are they still running? Where and what channel(s)??
Sorry to bump up a very old thread, but perhaps this is an update!
My father was on a fishing trip recently in upstate New York and swears up and down that he saw a JW commercial. I showed him the clips someone had linked here I found through another link (sorry, juggling too many tabs :)) and he said this appeared to be an updated commercial. He said it was very clear about being from the Jehovah's Witnesses, not some other group with a similar name.
Anyone know anything about this? Is it possible that they're back to doing them?
Interestingly, he was in the same area where a large group from my old congregation will be travelling next month to do seldom-worked territory. I wonder if they're doing targeted ads in areas with low activity? That could explain why most of us haven't seen them.
