I could see the article entitled "The Value of Tithing For Christians". Think of all the money they could get! They could word it in such a way to say that Christians are not under obligation to give one tenth of everything, but the PRINCIPLE still applies to "true Christians".

Representatives of the Watch Tower (Jehovah's Witnesses) and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) are secretly meeting in St. Louis to discuss the upcoming merger of the two religions. There are still a few issues that need to be ironed out, but beginning on January 1, 2004 the two churches will exchange speakers for their Sunday services and a Watch Tower edition of the Book of Mormon is being printed in Patterson as we speak.
