The US would have no increase at all but for the increase in the Spanish-speaking congregations (per the last 2 COs).
The same is true with germany - highest increase with the foreign language. You just should see all the effort spend on those people.

My first analysis was based on the 259,000 new baptizms. If you base it on the actual net increases those numbers roughly double to 44 studies etc. We also don't know how many of those 259,000 are witness kids. A 2% increase just shows how inefficient this whole thing is. I checked with our residential property manager and it is generally expected that the leasing agents will talk about 1/3 of the people that come through the door into renting from us. I'm sure all sales organizations have a similar target.

Memorial Partakers - 8,565 (8,760 last year)
They like this type of figure because it makes people think that those old timers are dying off (the generation) and that the end is that much closer. But it isn't all decreasing by deaths of the oldsters. I just visited two friends in Arizona who were former witnesses and both partook. So maybe WE should start producing statistics. Actually, anyone who knows anything about statistics can tell you that you can make numbers say just about anything. It was interesting to note the numbers disfellowshipped were not included. Further, I would hazard to guess about an equal number to the DF'd just fade away on any given year. So even with their gains its surprising that they are making any headway.
Lastly, I heard sometime ago that their contributions were way down because a good portion of the witnesses had lower paying jobs by reason of being uneducated. It seems about that time there was some rethinking of that issue and I understand that it isn't frowned on anymore. There you go again, that old light just keeps on getting brighter, doesn't it?
This is hilarious!

The foreing-speaking congregations are growing fast in the United States. There was an invrease of 19% in publishers last year! And 8% in the Spanish-speaking congregations.

There is a lot of churning going on in those numbers. A family head is almost guaranteed four hours and four RV for study time. Also, it is not unheard of for pioneers to also study with the children within the congregation - even if the kid is counted as part of the family study.
There is also the churning of magazine placements. I remember way back when that I was able to count a subscription placement when I renewed the subscription for my unbaptized children. Since the subscriptions are no longer in existence I am sure that family heads count as placements four magazines a month for each of their unbaptized children

The sad fact is that every year Watchtower stats become more meaningless.
Let's see: fake publishers (me!), 15 minute publishers, 50/70 hour pioneers, youth getting baptized while
leading a "double life", bible studies with the inactive, return visits counted on magazine deliveries ( instead of
mailed subscriptions), more hours counted that represent nothing more than walking from one empty
house to another ( more women work or don't answer the door), etc
Add your own observations here. More and more that means less and less
If you think otherwise, why do they keep having trouble with low contributions despite
all of the cutbacks ?( no subscriptions, no food at conventions, cheaper paperback books,
downsized printing, repeated begging in WT and KM).
Follow the money - it leads to the "truth"

Joker, It was always my understanding that you could count on BS and a RV for each time you conducted the study. If that is not correct then I need to send the society a revised time slip for approximately 15 years worth of reports.

What??? I have been out for a long time. Did I just hear you say there is no food at assemblies now? My we have come down in the world. How long has that been going on? And do they all go to nearby restaurants for lunch or bring brown bag lunches? I imagine if you wear your namebadge into the restaurant and someone asks you about it you could count that as time. Then if you happen to see them the next day too it would be a return visit!
Oh my...
