I missed this comment, room215. It is so true. The WTS would just say it was their personal decision and that the WTS did not make them do it. It falls into the area where someone may have had an organ transplant between 1967 and 1980 and was DF'd and then saw the WTS make it a conscience decision again, yet this person would not be invited back. They were DF'd because they disobeyed "God's channel."
It's all legalistic bs.
