So, did they drain the thing, put on pressure, cut the leg off, or just give sympathy? I wanna know Anything for a holiday, eh?

Thank you all very much for your good wishes and amazing witticisms!

The swelling has now reduced somewhat, but my leg is going a sort of brownie-green. I believe that good beer is extremely palliative so I will be taking a cure later.

I think we should all have a beer in your honor, just to help you with the healing!

    LOL @ Watson!

Glad you still have your sense of humor about you, Englishman... and I hope that you get good Worker's Comp (or whatever the English equivalent is). Think of it as a drinking vacation...

This thread sounds like your very own script for a 'Carry on Roofing' film, Mike

Hope you feel better soon (((you poor thing))) just keep that leg up and the glass full to dull the pain...I think there's going to be trouble now you've got time on your hands...

    Well Eman,

First I must offer some sympathy for your sub-dural "haemotoma".

Hope you accept my sympathy as genuine I have to admit I laughed out loud all throught the story. Your story telling is more interesting than Bill Bryson's.

Eman I have to say that we exjw's are resiliant, we can bounce back from just about anything. Glad to hear that you're all right. Take it easy and keep that leg elevated.
