How many people did you personally bring into the truth?

You know what I was thinking regarding this topic.... when I was a JW I hated the guilt that went with it.. NEVER doing enough no matter what.. . and when I left, it was so refreshing not to have it.. not to feel guilty about coming home from work and staying in on a meeting night.... not getting up for service.. etc.. I love not feeling bad about NOT being a good little JW..

but now this point of guilt if we did bring someone into the WTS.. as having been a JW.. does the guilt really ever end?? or are we just programmed to having it in our lives forever??

I've brought in a total of zero.

There were a few reasons for this.
    1) I was only an unbaptized publisher
    2) I rarely talked at the door. It was my partner who did it all. Personally, I couldn't see the reasoning in Jehovah forcing me to be a salesman when I neither had the knack nor the interest to do it. Any words at the door were forced.
    3) Eventually, I didn't want to "sell" something I wasn't even interested in. Why should I promote something that I think is a load of bullshit?

My mother, in her 20 years of being in the Troof has brought in a total of one. Around a year or two after she was baptized, she went inactive, came to the memorial, partook of the emblems, and then was disfellowshipped. So in relaity my mother has helped zero people see the "truth".

I brought my best friend in when we were kids. He is still in, and knows that I don't go.

The problem is that I cannot tell him that it was all a mistake. He would listen to the organization instead of me at this point.

I am hoping that he does see the light at some point. Just buying time right now.

Thanks little witch for your advice- I know the Bible says in Romans 1:8 there is no condemnation to those in Christ. ( Which I am ) but I thinks sns is right--- it is so hard to feel UNguilty- I think I am programed for life-especially since one of them ( my daughter -her children) are still in it -I am hoping the Nov 8th AWAKE about "loving" those who dont believe the same as them ...Will give "New Light" to her... Good topic... I enjoyed the comments Mulan WHEW!!!!! you were worse than me Are YOU Mouthy too???/
