Frenchbabyface...I have all the spaghetti westerns Clinty made. For a Few Dollars More. Hang 'em High...I don't know why I love those movies. I just do.

Leolaia....I can't believe someone else liked eXisTenz. It was way too strange for anyone in my family. I loved it. I asked my sons how they'd like an X-Box plugged into their backs?

And how could I forget Wuthering Heights with Timothy Dalton? He was the best Heathcliff. IMO

Most disturbing movie I've seen???? CRASH. With Holly Hunter & James Spader. This movie made me squirm.

doc....bb....you two are so bad! Ass to ass? No matter what I see Keith David in, I get a stomach ache!!!

Tatiana --- how about the original Wuthering Height with that Lord god awful gorgeous actor who played Heathcliff, Oh man his image has been with me since kid-dom. OH!!! Lawrence Olivier. What a dreamboat.

I also frequently warch Clinty's B westerns and don't forget Henry Fonda's trek into spaghetti westerns where he played a bad guy!!! He was great. Or when he played the addicted gambler in A BIG HAND FOR A LITTLE LADY --- the lady was Joann Woodward.

Somebody mentioned the 12 Monkeys --- In either the french or english it's superb.

Besides To Live other good Chinese films are The Girl from Hunan , TheRoad Home another tear duct cleaning, And Red Sorghum it's more of a political statement but great use of images.

Yeehaaaaa ! LEOLAIA I'm happy I found someone who loved PW's BA too !!!
Now I'm affraid that I maybe don't know about what's the Cheesy old "Martian Chronicles" (maybe an other tittle here in France or maybe not broadcasted at all here I dunno ...)

    Here I would add ...

"Dave" with Kelvin klein and sigourney weaver the French tittle was : "one day president"
"Groundhog Day" : with bill Murray and Andy Mac Dowell the French tittle was : "the neverending day"

I can't tell how much time I saw those 2 movies (My son and I just couldn't let go ... LOL)

"ARIZONA" with Kelvin Klein - Dany Glover (very interesting and quiet realistic)

I saw it twice on TV, always a pleasure

"The Negotiator" with Samuel L Jackson (WICKED !)
I just love when both professional introduce themself and talking about the way they are to each other without the others wondering what it is all about, and the moment when they try to get his wife involved to cool him down on the phone... and him knowing that he'd better not answer just know that he have to fake the worse (BANG !) without even answering. And the guy who dare to say everything he thinks right and get pissed off against who deserved it !!! And reacting in a such bold way ! I just adore him in this movie !

"The fugitive" with Harrison Ford BUT ALSO TOMMY LEE JONES
Can't tell how much time I've seen this one too I like the story but I particularly like both caracteres ! The fugitive (struggling) and the marshall (professionnaly enquiering and managing everything with a strong hand, instinct and feelings) that is probably why I've liked "US Marshall"

I think that there are too many movies that I like. The only one on the list that I did not see was Gangs of New York... that's it.

Pee Wee's big adventure is a total laugh. Even today, I can still watch it and giggle myself silly!

12 monkeys is really cool... Brad Pitt was awesome in it!

Hey, if you can, watch Gummo. It's a B movie from the producer of "kids" and is horribly disturing. It's about white trash america... horrilbe! Also, rent Bully! Really really good movie, again B, so if you want Hollycrap block-buster bullshit, don't even bother renting those.

shamus, Bully was a good one. And it was based on a true story. I saw the "real" kids on American Justice on A&E. Very disturbing teenagers.

Ok, panda, I'll have to give it to you, Lawrence was one good looking man. I just have a weak spot for Timothy. *heavy breathing*

There was another movie I saw with that French actor, Jean Reno. I think it was called Crimson River. That was excellent.

czar, i'm surprised you found 'the royal tenenbaums' depressing. i thought it was overwhelmingly charming and sweet. i love wes anderson.
