  Nobody should be surprised that this religion is saying or hinting things like this!

  The religion imagines that ALL the needy (whether it is "faithful" elderly or every other Tom, Dick and Harry plus the newer ones with serious issues and fired bethelites) are going to be INFLICTED on the remaining responsible individuals left in the religion.

  These people are going to be hit up for money left and right to help people who followed the religion's unwise advice!!...There will be NO end to this! This will be the ugly reality and the new normal in the Witness religion.

  If I could see this coming years ago, I assume others did as well. Well, now it's here and I'm SO glad I'm not there!!!

  Isn't it interesting that Jehovah provides through people who already have something to give? Why couldn't Jehovah provide for this elderly couple by having money show up under their pillow or have a householder out in service ask if they need help and then stroke them a check or have money mysteriously mailed to them etc.

  Jehovah always seems to provide in an exact way that could have happened without him altogether. It's like when donations are needed at the Kingdom Hall "Jehovah Provides" when the wealthier members decide to donate again. It's never that the poor pioneer brother suddenly shows up with money from Jehovah. You never see the unstable lady with the weird eye come in with an envelope and a note written in Hebrew.

  Yes, it's a serious situation in the Witness religion with all the people who followed the religion's policies and who are now suffering.

  I feel badly for their predicament because it isn't funny and wish them the best of luck but I am so grateful I NEVER listened to bad advice to quit my job.

  I cringe when I think of how damaged I would be if I listened to certain judgmental or jealous people there who wanted to see single women impoverished and doing favors for all the users. I ignored them. Well, I paid the price of being considered "not spiritual" and was not invited to "special" gatherings.

  But, that's okay with me now!!

  ..and when another young couple are conned on this example to do the same and end up with the oldies from hell and head into divorce what advice will come forth from the wt then ? (as they rake in their millions?)....

  Cut back on luxuries? What luxuries?

  You mean the gas they waste on field circus? What about the money wasted on suit dry cleanings, lunch at McDonalds every weekday, and bookbags? And those tablets they are being hounded to get so they can load digital copies of the damnation book and washtowel videos to play in field circus? What about those three day trips, often to distant cities, for Grand Boasting Sessions? Sometimes they are supposed to drive back each way, more than 100 km each way, wasting more gas.

  Also, Worldwide Damnation Fund donations are luxuries. True, you don't feel any benefit. Yet, you are paying a princely sum for them. This is the first "luxury" I cut back on, and cut right out. And I will not reinstate it--if I have money for the luxury of paying for the damnation of the whole world, I have money to buy silver and gold.

  Yes, I agree. The issue that we believe is starting to happen and will continue to happen is those people getting hit up for money are getting tired of being "hit up" all of the time. The GB and other "priviledged" ones in the KH insult those who choose a different path (jobs and education) and then they come around when they need something (money and/or skills). It's becoming more and more obvious to so many. They are tapping everyone out!

  The WTB&TS are registered as a charitable organization and yet their charity never extends to their own members in need. , Why is that ?

  As an example , Members of Bethel ,who have served as volunteers for in some cases decades .So they have no insurance , no savings , no superannuation ,nothing to look forward to in old age , because they were told they would never grow old in their lifetime.

  And when they do grow old ? and need assistance from the organization that has exploited them ? They pass the buck and put it on some unsuspecting Congregation to look after them.

  They have Millions , if not Billions of dollars $$$$$ from sales of Real Estate in New York and also Branch offices in many parts of the world , yet they do not provide for their elderly members who have served them for many , many years , who they then discard .They put the onus on Congregations to look after them without contributing a cent .for their welfare.
