That's right folks. Had Thanksgiving at MY house this year with about 25 people. I decided to run over tile in the kitchen wearing slipper (because that's what intelligent people do of course)
Slipped, fell, dislocated and broke a piece of bone of my knee cap. I am now laid up with a brace, on crutches, awaiting surgery in a few weeks.
I RUINED THANKSGIVING WAH!!!
OUCH! I hope they gave you something strong for the pain you must be feeling right now. I hope all goes well in surgery also. Keep us informed, will ya? Get some rest too.

Thanks guys! The good news was that we had already eaten. So I didnt ruin it COMPLETELY. I spent 12 hours in the county hostipal though. That sucked. Oh yeah, my truck is a stick also so i'm going to have to borrow an automatic for the next 6 weeks. Man my timing really sucks.

You won't have ruined it for them, they'll just be worried about you. And besides, if they were all at your house they'll have carried on drinking and having a laugh! Just pity about you missing it. But wait til christmas, you'll be able to have all of them running around after you for a change!

You have not 'ruined' Thanksgiving. You have set a precedence of the "most fruqued up thanksgiving of all time".
Why there has been no comparison since someone forgot to take the liver and turkey soup pouch outa the bird!

Little Witch, I did that one year and left the gizzards, etc, and in their little plastic bag .......in the turkey and cooked it.

This year my turkey contained three paks. One was the innards, two was "gravy mix", three was "turkey soup mix!!! EWWWWWWW
We had that turkey last week.....and opted for barbque pork ribs for Thanksgiving.....LOL
I lossed my appetite by those pax stuffed in the turkey....Yuk!!!!!!
No you didn't. You ruined your knee. My thanksgiven was great. I hope your knee will get the deserved attention it needs and you will be back sliding on your kitchen floor in a couple of months.
