As usual, Richard Oliver has done some excellent research. It should be obvious that there is a huge gap between what is "legal", and what is moral.
The WTBTS is one of the most legalistic religions on this planet. Making some arbitrary tweaks to their procedures has not erased this fact. Do not be fooled by this "progress", which has only occured because the WTBTS was forced to make changes by the pressure of moral individuals, along with secular authorities.
Remember the famous CO illustration about driving the speed limit. You have the legal right to drive 25 mph, in that speed zone. Yet, what if children are playing on, or near the road? Where are the parents? Isn't it their responsibility to watch their children? Why should you slow down?
We all have the moral obligation to protect children. No amount of legal wrangling will ever relieve us of that responsibility.
Unfortunately, children are just speed-bumps on the WTBTS's "Highway To Holiness."
