    Where did all that water go that supposedly covered the Earth?

    They claim that God created the great ocean trenches that hold all the water.

    I guess God scooped up a big handful of muck and tossed it on top of the land and the water ran down into it.

    Not that I believe it myself.

    Yeah that's a great question. I asked my bethelite friend this question. He said that the Earth was flatter back then - no high mountains or deep ocean trenches. All the water made the trenches and mountains appear. So I looked him in the eye and said "So you mean to tell me that the Alps, Rockies, Himalaya's and Ande's did not exist 5000 years ago???" He stumbled for a second realizing how absurd that sounds and said "its possible". I said "yeah if you ignore geology." He lost his enthusiasm for the subject. How silly.

    This is, according to the bible, the universe:

    <img SRC="http://www.geocities.com/torosaurio/criticabiblica/grasshoppers.jpg" height=380 width=376>

    Aguas superiores=waters above the expansion

    Aguas inferiores=waters below

    Bases de la tierra= earth foundations

    Also notice the CIRCLE of the earth, you can find some Bibles that also explain this an even have a similar diagram.

    The waters above, when the gates were open, falled to the ground, there were also waters coming from the deep, (waters below the expansion) I suppose that now flood waters are all in the "waters below the expansion region" .

    Sounds like a question that only mother earth can explain.

    Badboy, have you ever been to Jamaica or Rio De Janerio during their rainstorms? True, its not a global flood, but your question was about what happens to the flood waters. I 've been to both countries and remarkably when they have heavy rains that result into floods, the flooded street eventually recedes. Where did the water go? How about all the snow that is dumped on the earth, where does it go? How can mother earth sustains such extra weight?

    Someone just recently posted about mood swing changes during this time of the year. Hmmmmm apparently it's true, but can you and I explain it? Lack of sun, some have answered. Put your hands together, about an eigth of an inch apart, and tell me if you feel heat. If you do, do you know why?

    Do we need to understand all of mother natures miracles to enjoy them? I think the female egg and the male sperm when united has produced many happy faces.

    To answer a question with a question: how much of the earth would be under water if the polar ice caps were to melt?
