  I did read all of your letter...Thank-you for sharing your utmost deepest personal life....You were very brave to do this....

  I really hope that your life can continue to grow healthy now, without all that termoil in your head...Sounds to me. like your X is playing alot of games with you and your children....From what you explained, she is abuseing those children ( the youngest one with out a doubt)...

  I wish you much happiness in life, and a postive clearing to your marriage....

  Your experience is very reminiscent of my own and it confirms the errosive nature of the religion. Only those who live through it can appreciate fully the injustice. If the Watchtower had cultivated tolerance and respect for individual conscience, your wife and mine may have continued to respect us through our difficult period of disillusionment. Thank you for your letter and my respect to you for your fidelity throughout your marriage.

  D'Mouse,I'm so sorry to read about your troubles and pain.The elders will question you about your books,Crises of Conscience etc.They don't know how to handle all you wrote to them and will claim that they are not spiritual cops and cannot get involved in the family matters.Although this is a cop-out.They will dismiss her dishonesty and lies and focus on you as a potential Apostate because of your reading Ray Franz's book.I'm sorry to tell you this,I don't mean to make it any harder than what you have already suffered over the years.You have many who love you and will support you on this forum and some who may have similar experiences like your own.

  I can relate! (But I won't go into detail here.)

  You went through terrific abuse and neglect, and life is way too short to put up with that caca. It's hard to leave the children, but in later years (if not already) they will respect you as a man of principle, and see that mom isn't fully trustworthy and is the one who caused the family to split up.

  The elders, of course, will support Amanda because your non-participation in the JW lifestyle (as opposed to your full participation when you were first married) will be viewed either as spiritual endangerment or as persecution. Despite all her b.s., you're the "enemy".

  However, what goes around comes around. She has hurt you and somehow, sometime, her ways will catch up to her. It's just a matter of time.

  As for you, now you know what you DON'T want in a mate, should you choose to go that route again at some point in the future.

  I read your letter. I must say things like dishonesty are so often justified by so called "theocratic warfare" just another reason why the JWs are hypcritical.

  Wow...............incredible letter. I hope they read it, but I suspect they will skim it, and dismiss it. I'm so glad it was cathartic to you though. Writing can be a great outlet.

  I am thinking of you this holiday season. The lies and half-truths add up to complete and utter nonsense!

  I hope that you stay single for 20 years... not so that you are lonely, but so your lying ex-spouse can sit at home for years alone to contemplate her lies.
