What stops me? The utter belief that the JW's are a false religion. And even if I didn't believe that .. pride would prevent me from going back. I'd rather die standing and burn in hell for it ... than to live my life crawling and begging with those people.

I agree with Orange list of why I dont go.
What stops me? well first thing if I really went to my own cong, the elders would have me in the back in a second and take steps to df me for sure..
but my reasons for not going in the first place is lack of love.. lack of understanding..
and they have never called once to see why I wasn't attending.. they don't care sh*t for me.. so there is no reason to be there..
Now to get serious we all know it is not up to us to NOT go to the meetings. In the WT december 1st they discuss three points to show our appreciation. One point is "giving the tenth"
