  We have a case in our cong at the moment, the woman have sex widh a elder in the cong, and is on reprof, the man filld in fore divorce. In sweden we have a waiting time on 6 month before ´the devorce is setteld, and the commite have tell the innocennt man that he must be carfull widh be together widh unother woman, and dont go widh anyone alon in sevice fore exampel.

  Now to the problem the woman on reprof meet unother man, who is widh here a lot of time, when the betrade man ask them if they can do like this, they say it is okey , if it is a grown person widh them, unbelvebel this is like when you was young and date someone.Problem number two is that the elders now that this man as now are togedher widh her, has been seen kissing her by her 12 year old children, the elders say it is not inaff, we can not count children as wittneses, scary?

  One other thing, if you are in the same house togedher over night and dont tuch ech other, you can still be dfd, but if you rape a child it must be two indpendent wittneses, to prof it, can anyone explain this?

  She would not even talk to me or should I put is this way -- becuase she has made it clearly know she does not want to talk to me another person I know approached her on my behalf and her comment was I am not going to discuss that with you. When pressed she made it clear she was not going to discuss this situation with anyone.

  That's because your divorced & it's none of your damn bizness! I feel for you, i really do, but look at it realistically. She's screwing another guy, you know it, I know it, God knows it, why do you need an orginization to tell you when you can fall in love and get married again? Why get married right away anyway?

  Believe me that is ironic about two witnesse being divorced and they can not have sex because they are not married in ceasar eyes..but they are married in Jehovah's eyes -- in this case mans laws are hire then God. But in countries that do not allow divorce for any reason, A Witnesse can divorce if there are scriptural ground and get "married", some type of certificate of vows are something like that -- so Jehovah's law is higher them man's in this instance -- but to me it would bring reproach on Jehovah's name as people who are not in the truth -- would not understand this and maybe turn off by this type of conduct

  16 What if the laws of a land do not allow any divorce, even on the ground of sexual immorality? An innocent mate in such a case might be able to obtain a divorce in a country where divorce is permitted. Circumstances, of course, may not allow for this.   But in a religion such as Jehovah's Witnesses.. this sort of thing HAPPENS!!!

  I had someone very close to me go through almost the exact same problem with the elders....

  I look back at her situation now and say that it really was due to some over controlling elders..

  That's what I think you have here. An overcontrolling elder or two, whose sheparding has gone to their head. They are trying to make you jump through unreasonable hoops..when you know in your own heart that your wife has moved on and is in sexual relationships with other men..(and that is her right).

  I would venture to say that these couple of elders.. don't really like you, perhaps.

  I'm so sorry that you have been caught on this Merry-go-round with the Jehovah's Witnesses man-made rules and regulations.

  Hang around and maybe you will learn more about the unreasonable things they do to people.

  OK, this is exactly the MAIN problem I have with the bOrg. "Not bringing reproach on Jah's name" is the reason they did'nt turn in a child molester who went on to molest my brother & dozens of other kids. This is a world wide precedent of the org, Not just because of the"two witness rule" but because they want to appear clean. Jehovah is a big boy, he can handle himself, & does'nt need a bunch of men to protect "his name". Or his org.s name either. Thousands of children have been & continue to be abused because they , the MEN want to save face, it has diddly shit to do w/ Jehovahs name. What you are going thru my friend, is nearly identical to the catholic law keeping priests celibate, that the JW's are so quick to point out as unscriptural. If you can control a persons sexual relationships, you have control over the person. So I applaud your view of the Beroeans & suggest you act accordingly. Oh, & welcome to the board.
