That's the biggest issue. IT is the same, very few women because few women pursue STEM degrees (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) but far too many waste their time on far less valuable courses (gender studies) and then end up working in a lower paid job as a result of the choices they made.
The education industry is happy to pander to them, backed by increasingly left-wing femminazis on campuses as it bolsters their own self-important invented positions.
Women are just as capable of course if they do go into STEM fields and early on in IT made up the majority of developers.
