It just dawned on me today that this board is not full of desperate women for men. All the years I was on JW boards, it was crawling with sisters who were desperate for finding a man. Used to drive me crazy... all of a sudden I noticed today that it isn't like that here..
Must be that women have more options and don't have to feel like they will never get a mate huh?
No, I noticed that too. I like that also cause I am here for friendship, not sex! But I think it's cool for those who are single and looking to be able to chat and meet if they want too.
I like the fact that we can all be on here and just have a good time being ourselfs. There are People here who are going through or have gone through the same trials in life. It is so nice to be able to come on to this site and just have fun and not worry about someone looking to pick you up if you are not looking for it. I don't remember too many posts from people looking here to try to hook up with someone. its kinda nice.
Good observation, Sassy. Maybe it's because the women here have more choices in men and more choices in life goals than getting married and having kids and keeping a good home. The sky is the limit.

I haven't spent any time on JW boards but I'm assuming from your
description it's pretty much the same as the Convention "husband
trolling" I remember from my mispent youth. I think it's great
that most everyone here all seems to have recovered from, or never
had that desperate "must find man and make babies" syndrome.

And xjw-b12 I disagree about all the men being gay. Actually a persons preference does not seem to be a major issue on this board. We are just people. That's is so much more relaxing than the judgemental JW's! No one is looking to discover what a person really is at the JW masquerade! Maverick
