"Apostates"! Do You Know We Control the Watchtower - BY REACTION?

Once upon a time, a very long time ago, I told a wayward Witness friend of mine that I thought that the Society was fascist.

He immediately corrected me "Nope, they're reactionary".

He was right! .. and that's the beauty of it!

For many of us, reform of the Watchtower has become a fool's dream. What is to be desired is their destruction - likely thru

apathy, lawsuits, publisher fakery, and assimilation. The wonderful thing is, that by posting our opinions freely on the internet,

we can lead the Society directly into eventual ruin - and away from the least effort at 'reform - THRU THEIR MINDLESS REACTION

    TO 'Apostate' thought!

Consider: Publishers are becoming little more than depressed zombies. Witness kids are 'faking it' and leaving in huge numbers.

The external image of Jehovah's Witnesses ( never that good) has gotten worse with child sexual abuse and cultish habits.

The average Witness NEEDS compassion and inspiration ....... BUT THEY'RE NOT GOING TO GET ANY! Why?

BECAUSE in the secret councils of this cult, the elderly 'Theocrats' will REFUSE any such changes by labeling these needs

as "APOSTATE THINKING" ! By this means, they are drawn into their own demise, like countless tyrants before them.

More rules will be generated, more restrictions heralded, more unfeeling elders appointed, more unthinking and childishly

dependent Witnesses will be created as cult behavior intensifies ... and the caring and intelligent quietly leave.

WE HAVE THE POWER ( thru their foolish reaction) to PUSH THEM FURTHER AND FURTHER into the practices of

King Rehoboam. More beatings! More guilt! More, more, more. I had to laugh at the January Kingdom Ministry ( last page)

with its demands to stop "Time Wasters" like entertainment, e-mails, the internet, etc. It's just like the Egyptian Overseers,

"You are relaxing, you are relaxing!" ( not enough bricks without straw, brothers!).

So, keep up the good work! The more freedom and common sense we enjoy - and talk about - the MORE they

will BEAT the flock ( a recent change: the inactive need to put in time or be disassociated). When the blind lead the

blind, where do they end up?

In the spirit of Hushai before Absalom,

Reactionary - thinking about it carefully they are correct -- read the 1st edirtion of Crisis of Conscience and just see how many things suggested by Ray have either happened or at least subtly changed -- quite a few - so yes they are reactionary when one thinks carefully about it

Not true! Well, at least not here in the Netherlands! I have been inactive about two years now, and not been da'ed or df'ed. Also, I am warmly greeted by many active ones so...

acsot, there is nothing official that the inactive have to turn time in or they'll be considered disassociated. I'm sure the elders try to pressure inactive ones into getting angry and disassociating themselves or try to catch them doing something they could be DF'd for. The best thing is just not talk to them about your feelings, doubts, etc. I consider it pearls before swine.

Yes, I was wondering if you would clarify where you read that if you're inactive, you could be da'd. As far as I know, that is not a true statement. If you're inactive and having sex with your neighbors or get a blood transfusion, then I guess it could be true....

When I do go to the meetings I do tune much of it out. But when was this change? is it anywhere in print?

a recent change: the inactive need to put in time or be disassociated

    This is HUGE!

Please Metatron, we need to see some hard evidence of this change.

Think what this means to thousands of aging missionaries and pioneers who expected to dance into the new world sometime before the end of the 20th century, who are now infirm and aching!

This latest bit of "Theocratic compassion" needs to be advertised, advertised, advertised!

"...and king Rehoboam Jaracz forsook the counsel of the old men, and spake to them after the counsel of the young men lawyers, saying, My father Knorr/Franz made your yoke heavy, but I will add thereto: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions."

I will chastise you with scorpions

    chastise you with scorpions

    with scorpions

" And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from heaven fallen unto the earth: and there was given to him the key of the pit of the abyss. And he opened the pit of the abyss; and there went up a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And out of the smoke came forth locusts upon the earth; and power was given them, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was said unto them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only such men as have not the seal of God on their foreheads. And it was given them that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when it striketh a man."

Here's how they pressure the inactive:

First, the Society orders elders to "visit" all the inactive and "encourage" them every year.

Inevitably, if the person doesn't "respond" with agreement to put in time, etc., they will often be asked if they

believe "this is the truth" or any other such statement that puts them on the spot. If they fail to reply as the elders

wish, or any other refusal to comply, they can then be disassociated formally - using the statement that so and so

"has disassociated himself" ( by not going out in service/ meetings).

Keep in mind that the Society's definition of apostasy also includes any passive belief they don't like

that the victim "stubbornly" holds to - even if they don't talk about it.
