Ok -now I feel bad. For years I have b*** about people having their lights up year round.....I took my lights down by the 2nd weekend in Jan and NO LATER. Guess what.......we got hit with a big snow storm this year, then I got sick,...and well........I still have my x-mas lights up I'm so ashamed.
I'm going out first thing tomorrow morning and taking them down. Guess that teaches me to b**** all these years hu?!

In Britain, if you have your Christmas decorations still up beyond the 12th night (5th January), you are supposed to have bad luck for the rest of the year!

I kept up my Christmas lights till after the Chinese New Year, which was January 24... year of the ummmmm ... m0nk3y ...? Well ... anyway Chinese New Year is celebrated in a big way in Vancouver ... 10 course dinner and dancing afterward ... a lot of fun and festivities ... just how I like ...
But ... ummmm ... JH ... Merry Christmas JWD ...?
