One of my friends works for a lady who puts her tree and decorations up at Thanksgiving and takes them down for Valentine's Day.
There are lots of lights still up on our street too.

I once lived down the street from someone who left their outside lights up for two whole years and turned them on every night. It was kind of fun to see the Christmas lights when it was 105 F outside.

Well, to be honest, I rather her Christmas lights on than having that 100 Watt light on all everning long that blinds me, that she keeps on during the 9 other months of the year. She had to unscrew that 100 Watt bulb to energize her Christmas lights...
