No, she's still alive and kicking
I took this picture 2 weeks ago, and it's still the same now. No difference.
The lights shine much stronger than on the picture.
I think it looks pretty.
My lights are up--technically. They aren't turned on any more, though. Someday we'll take them down (it should only take 5 minutes!).

Oh, good grief, man...I was imagining something out of "Christmas Vacation" (which is how my mom decorates, with gobs of lights inside and out, and a yard full of wooden figurines)! One little puny string of lights? Geez.
I knew about the 12th night thing.
I, being the "Christmas decoration police," put them up on Thanksgiving weekend and take them down on New Year's Day. Them's the rules!
Having the Christmas lights on for 4 months is a little overdone. And probably they will still be on in 1 month from now.
I worked at a bar one time that had a Christmas tree up year round. Every holiday us girls would have to change those stupid decorations to fit the next season. We even had Easter eggs for the tree for Easter season. Little pumpkin lights for Halloween, etc.
Of course being the new exJW that I was, I was always the first to volunteer to decorate. I loved it! LOL!
She just needs to exchange the bows for Hearts and it will be Valentines lights up past the date...........................pretty soon she can put Easter bunnies up on the balcony! She's no dummy.
