Do You Think We Are Hurting The Organization By What We Do Here?

I fully intent to expose an organization, that protects child molesters. And I will not stop talking, revealing, exposing, or witholding information where it can be used to protect the innocent.

Let's hear it for fluff and friendship ! Don't underestimate their power to undermine the watchtower walls. Simon

It's true, Simon. Most of us leave behind family and friends. Most times we think if we leave that we will be completely alone outside the org. But if we are lucky enough to have internet access then we might chance upon wonderful sites like JWD and others and realize there are many brothers and sisters still there for us.So many of our brothers and sisters are awaiting us with open arms. They await us with an unconditional love that we could not find inside the org. This is an unconditional love we weren't allowed to express while on the inside.

Obviously JWD is a success. JWD may have its critics, but JWD is helping a lot of people break free from the evil old geezers in Brooklyn

Simon---What you say is 100% correct. Too bad some of the self-styled intellectuals can't see this!

    Ahem.....

My name is "imallgrowedup" and I am a "fluff" addict!!!!

    There! That wasn't so hard!

I agree 100% with Heather that this is a great place for those on the fence, or who already out to find that there is life outside the borg. And, it is also a great place to meet new friends. Although discussing doctrine can be a lot of fun, I don't believe it "bonds" people like just sharing a bunch of "fluff" does. People leaving the borg are so accustomed to "belonging" to something - this place provides a great place to fill the in gap when they leave. Personally, I don't want to sit around a talk doctrine all the time - it's too serious. Not that it's not okay to be serious - but it's a lot more fun 'fluffin' with the "homeboys" on the board! I'm glad JWD is the way it is. Who care what the other boards think?!

(don't tell Yeru I used his "smiley"!)

I think SIMON should get the award as top "Organization Buster". The Society must hate him!

I like the idea that we are helping the Organization stay clean. They can check this site to take the pulse of the discontents. Weh help them figure out how best to counteract our message to the Loyal Flock.

We can help DF'd ones come to terms with their shunned state, and figure out what they believe OUTSIDE the society. This prevents the WTBTS from re-absorbing them.

Non-JW partners can get the straight goods from us, so at least if they continue with a JW partner, they can't say they didn't know what they were getting in to.

Intelligent JW's can attempt to debate us, but the likely result is that they have to admit to their organization's error.

A pared-down society full of non-internet-using blind faithful should be a lot easier to control. The WTBTS should thank us.

I think that people that are impacted by what they read here are already on their way. There may be a little effect but I think it is really minimal. I suspect that a few are actually turned back by what they see here, not many, but a few.

PC, i'm not sure of the actual number registered on this board, but it is a lot. We are not a few malcontents, we are a

    Great crowd(LOL)

we are having an affect just by offering people a safe place to talk freely, something they know they can't do at the KH.

The WTS pushes people out and then they wonder why people hate them?

wednesday when you consider it percentagewise it is a drop in an ocean. I know more people that have left the Organization without any involvement in sites like than people who have left because of sites like this. I'm talking about personal knowledge not the anecdotal stuff that flies around here.

Pork Chop, that may be true. Politicians know for every letter written, there are a hundred people THINKING it. I visited a local XJW support group, and out of a dozen people, only two were registered at JWD. So I think we could probably extrapolate by 100 the number of visitors here to the numbers of XJW's who WON'T go back.
