Having been here for a few years, and corresponding privately with some of you I have noticed a lot of us have names that are from the Bible.
So without giving too much away about yourselves :
Did your parents give you a name based on a Bible character?
Did they do this while they were JWs?
Did any of you name your children after Bible characters?

I asked my mum why she called me Stephen, she answered that she knew I'd be naughty. Go figure. My Brother name is Peter.
My nephews are called
Joshua, Caleb, Jacob, Amos, Phillip and Samuel. Yes they got those names directly from the washtower :)

yes my children are named after persons from the bible, but my parents and myself are not. Odd b./c i'm a third generation. U would think there would be more bible names

Nope..............I have the dubious distinction for having been named after a 50's comic strip:
Terry and the Pirates..........only, my name is spelled with an "i" on the end.........cuz I'm a female!
However, my sister's children, all good little dubs, were named Paul Alexander.........he's a junior, but, I was the one who pushed for the name Alexander cuz I love Alexander the Great, then child number two is David Benjamin, and the third young man is Joshua Michael.
