What did you do with all your WT literature? (page 3)

They're all in boxes in the garage. Same thing with all my anti-JW literature. I have just too much stuff.

my mom (still an active witness) threw away all of my old watchtower and awake magazines as well as all my other books. now all she has is the WT and Awake! magazines in the CD cabinet full of my demonized music. She's supposed to go hand them all out in service, but i have a feeling that she isn't going to go out in service for awhile. so much for that. i haven't heard the elders talking to my mom yet about going out in service. can't wait for it to happen because she'll get pissed...

We inherited a ton of moldy old (really, really old) Watchtowers

My really old WT's (the large ones) sold for $10 each. I had 2 Golden Age mags and they sold for $40 each. I sold one old book by MacMillan for $80, The Finished Mystery for $70 I think, and a set of Rutherford books, also called the Rainbow books for $250. I sold a bunch more odds and ends, including the old Paradise books for $7 each. Try it............the extra money is better than having them rot in a shed.

Put the big NWT and the Emphatic Diaglott on the shelf and took all the rest to the dump myself. Only books I've ever thrown away in my life.

When I was disfellowshipped (1986) I was a pioneer, living in a Parisian flat lent by JW friends who were in the UK at the time. I had left most of my things in Bethel where I had spent the 5 previous years. So I came back there to fetch the essentials (my only home from this moment on was my car -- an old French "deux chevaux"). From the WT literature I just took the Bibles and gave the rest to the first guy passing by. He was a new Bethel member and didn't know me. Quite a complete WT library from the 40's on...

I moved back into our old house we lived in as JW's,and I no matter how much I throw away ,,,,,,,the old JW crap mags keep popping up, or falling on my head. ( Closets ya know) I stashed that crap everywhere . I guess to hide that I wasnt placing them!!!!!!!!

We had a bonfire one nite and buried the bond volumns,,,,,,,,it was weird, but fun too.

I know use all the old WT and Awakes, as kitty litter liners, to pick up puppy poo, lite the gas heater, etc. this is really true,,,,lol.

OPPPS, forgot to log the turkey man off...........that was by me, LyinEyes,,,,,,,,want prroof ????He wouldnt touch a kitty litter box with a 10 foot pole.

I kept all of it for years, and decided to throw most of it away a few months ago. Even if I was active, I wouldn't be reading that old light anymore.
