I have always wanted to do that at a kingdom hall. Over the past few years I celebrated pesach (passover) with some jewish friends and it was so cool to be able to munch the food. Besides the jewish tradition was much more fun and was more like a party. My jewish friends tell me - "They don't call it the High holidays for nothing."

So... Did you ever drink the wine or munch the matzos at the KH?

Yes, once, in 1986. A few weeks later I was disfellowshipped (not for partaking, actually: I had a few doctrinal questions to answer on which I could no longer agree).

Oh, in fact, twice! For the following year I went to another KH as a perfect stranger and partook again, with everyone staring at me... I dropped it since

Once my parents purchased the wine for the memorial....since they only poured two glasses, mom took the rest of the bottle home and drank it!

Haha, that is pretty funny stuff... I never had the guts to, though my older brother did, or tried to at least. He was a smart-ass and tried to munch on the "bread" and my mom smacked him and he almost dropped the plate! We were both snickering for the rest of the memorial service.... we were just kids, so we got away with it. :)

My Dad was in charge of the Carlo Rossi and unleavened bread one year. I was in grade school, and the day after the memorial, I took some of the 'lord's flesh' to school in my lunch..ate it with butter.

Yeah, I'm sitting there in the cafeteria with the body of christ, and still, no one will trade me for a ho-ho...

My father in law partook every year. I used to pick out the wine for him. I kind of liked doing that, especially after I quit going and believing.

As for the "bread", yeah I've munched a few, but you'll get more taste out of sawdust.

Do you ever wonder if the ones who partook in the drinking and eating were just crazy? I mean, how do they know they are one of the annointed? There was a brother at my congregation that always partook, and I remember ,even as a child, thinking "Is he crazy?...."
