Code.............I know it's a personal decision............that's why I basically said that I was just speaking my own personal opinion............I've always been the kind who just has to get it over and done with, no matter how scared I am, once I've made my mind up................to add balance to my comment, it took me 1 1/2 years to finally tell my ex that it was over between us............but, once I was sure it was what I wanted to do, then I did it. It's been really tough at times, being DF'd because I had to white knuckle thru those lonely times..........but, it made me get off MY ass and take my own personal power back and be proactive, for the first time in a very long time............maybe that's the way it was just supposed to happen for me..............anyways, I'm glad the fade thing is working for some!

At least they got off their butt and took an interest in you. I get sick and tired of living in limbo. The elders couldnt give a toss around here . They just do their bit at meetings, go home to "Care for the family" (probably by watching telly with the kids)

i get the impression I would have to stand up at the meeting , grab the roving mike and shout that " It's all a big lie " before they would take an interest.

I know this is stupid. I dont really want to be shunned by the family, to make home life even more intolerable than what is is now, risk a seperation and divorce and lose my home , so I know I am just ranting

But it is the awful monotony of this life. The going to meetings with the wife - behind a painted smile , engaging in small talk with people who think I am just as stupid as I believe them to be, that gets to me . Each one is too scared to raise any issues or say anything meaningful .

Or perhaps they just dont care, and I am too much a coward to force the issue

Well, min, it is getting closer to the memorial. Today is Mardi Gras and tomorrow is Ash Wednesday and with all the talk about Mel's movie, they might be having a religious moment. Of course, it could be you are a nice guy and your absence is very noticeable.

My husband gets calls from sisters. Hmmmmmmmmm?

Just got one recently and she remembered at the end of the call that he had a wife and what my name is.

No one wonders or cares why the "weak" ones leave. It's "good riddance."

Then there is the "curiosity" that all JWs have about people's personal business.

Too bad you have a store, min. You have to let the customers have access. Too bad the door can't filter out the JWs.
