I was raised as a JW. My paternal grandparents converted when my father was about 4 or 5. My dad got baptized at 11. My mother was converted in her late teens along with 3 of her other sisters. My paternal grandmother converted after my mother converted.
born and raised
My parents conveted when I was three, I can't remember anythoing other than being a jw.
3rd generation, born and raised!

Ha! I was a born and raised 4th generation dubbie. Sick eh? I slowly started to fade when I was 19. The funniest part is that all of my siblings and cousins did the same. It will be unlikely that a 5th generation will emerge in my family. Yay!

Third generation.
Raised a fourth,
Silly bugger.
Raised in it. Infected by a father who was infected by his mother who was infected by people who made their living selling religious books written by an attorney farm to farm.
I once asked my dad that IF being a Christian meant doing what Jesus did, didn't that mean we would all be Jews, unemployed, hang out with prostitutes and tax collectors, walk everywhere, live with 12 other unemployed Jews, minister primarily only to the Jews, live in Palestine, and keep the Jewish festivals? He told me he'd have to think about it. About a week later he left a message on my phone machine that listed an article in a Watchtower magazine for me to read to answer my question.
I think if you opened his head, all you'd find is a stack of old Watchtowers.

I was a convert. Both my hubby and myself were Baptized at the same time (he's still a jw). I was just about to turn 20 and going to college but quit when I was Baptized. I was at a going through a very vulnerable time in my life, now 28 years later I'm still paying for it.

My folks came in the "troof" when I was 9 so I guess I was practically born into it.
