Dan, you forgot one - that they don't believe in Jesus. Where that one comes from, I'm not totally sure (I could theorize) but I heard it a lot.

I dont know anyone that hates jw's. People just think of them as wierdos just like the Mormons. They dont like it when they wake them up early on a weekend morning I'm sure but I've never gotten the impression they are hated.
Personally, I dont hate JW's but I hate the cult as a whole and those who are responsible for its creation and therefore the loss of my family, my childhood, my education and everything else.

It seems to me that you had an expectation and are not willing to adjust that expectation to fit new data. Just how it looks from here... take it for what it's worth...

Many people hate/dislike them. Even those who never were part of that organization. They heard stories of friends and family who were there.
