Joplin, oh yay, I'm looking at my Joplin piano book now. Solace calms me down and my fingers can still manage it.

Most Christians will tell you that if people were to *really* live by the principles of the beatitudes, the world would be a beautiful place to live, and who can doubt this. I would also conjecture that if every person were trained as a muscian, it would have a similar effect in bringing peace to the world and to our lives.

Lots of nasty people have no problem killing Christians, they will even do it to themselves if you ask nicely, but apart from Barry Manilow, who wants to kill a musician?

I simply must wean myself from debates in here. I want to get involved, and yet, I don't. Can some of you understand this?

I think I can.

You can't? Neither can I, but I care more about music these days, and I will make some and let you good folks hear it.

I know what you mean, I play guitar and sometimes get lost in time while I'm practicing "timeing" with a metronome. You know what I mean when every beat is so precise and every 1/16 note so well placed in time that you feel a sort of "nirvana". I wish success, in you music, enjoy it with passion.
