If You Could Tell Brooklyn Just One Thing...
I'm thinking "good bye." Anything else is a waste of time.
If you had asked me this six months ago, I'd have had a long list of "reforms." In fact, I still have in my computer file someplace a long letter I wrote to a relaltively new member of the Gov Body who is an old friend of the family. But I never sent it. It's dated about a year ago, and in it I offered an unsolicited report from the field and tried to explain that the rank and file were dying from a lack of relevant nourishment and that a number of changes were necessary -- from my point of view as a long-time elder -- if the organization were to continue to grow and flourish.
It actually has some pretty good suggestions in it, some of which have already been mentioned, above. But I'm past the reform stage now and working on my final exit from this crazy religion.
