hey Mark,
lay off the Bruskys; they are making you ask strange questions......
kewl-est?!! What FAITH!!
And indeed, the righteous will live... by means of faith, such faith as you "exercise" here. May JAH bless you, dear lady. May He grant you His undeserved kindness and mercy, and the love and peace of His Christ... to time indefinite. Your servant, and a slave of Christ,
SJ
shelby (aguest),
: The greatest of love and peace to you, my dear friend... and THANK YOU for your "logic"... for it is sound!
Thanks, sweetie.
For those of you who don't know my relationship with Shelby and hers with me, here is a brief summary:
Shelby and I go back years. We've had our ups and downs. We've argued. I've insulted her. She has never insulted me, though. We've met personally and spent time together on several occassions. We've helped each other out in various ways when we each needed helping out. It was all magical, and she knows what I mean. We've always remained friends and we will ALWAYS remain friends. We are bonded in a way that we cannot explain, and neither of us need to explain it to others. We KNOW each other, despite our differences of beliefs. We just KNOW this, and we do not need to explain how or why.
When I think of the goodness of Shelby, I'm reduced to tears, despite the fact that she is a religious wacko! At least in my current opinion.
She calls me "Daddy-0" because she knows I'm a good and faithful father. She has children of her own who must revere her. She brought the Governing Body to their knees and forced them to change their own doctrine. They even published HER drawings in the WTS AFTER they DF'd her for presenting those SAME drawings and Biblical arguments! Yep. All by her lonesome self. She is so full of life and energy that I'm worn out in her presence. And I'm FEARLESS!
Shelby, you are welcome in my life always, you religious WACKO!
I played the piano for her. Live. She can tell you doubters out there. I'm as good as I say I am!
Farkel
mouthy,
: Folks may say I am illusional, may be they are right, But I do have the peace that I have never had before in my 76 years. So I attribuate it to Jesus
That is so cool. Anything that brings health, happiness and full self-expression to people meets my definition of "cool". I'm happy for you.
You meant "delusional" though, didn't you? Otherwise, you've been accused of being a magician! That would make you "demonized" in WatchtowerWorld(tm)!
I wish you the very best on your (our) very short stay on planet Earth, Mouthy. We can do no better good than to help each other and pray and hope that it makes a difference. All the rest is bullshit and vanity.
Peace, health and happiness to you!
Farkel
Fark, I've been trying my very best to focus on another project for awhile, but damnit, man! you provoke me!
Your last posts to Shelby and Gracie just plain touch my heart.
Craig
edit to add: Shelby, I've taken explicit (though polite, imho) exception to your posts here on JWD. Be that as it may, you have my very sincerest respects for the support you've given to a mutual friend.
AGuest!!!! Well thank you very much for your kind expressions....((((HUG))))
Farkel. trust me to use a wrong spelling, But then I am magical ( wink, wink)Well all the men in my life thought so!!!:) O.K. Now you want to know how many!!!! Well you will have to buy the book.(kidding of course)
onacruise>>>>>>>dont you just loe him???? i do

Amen... and amen... my dear brother... and the greatest of love and peace to you! (Except, you know that there is an explanation... for we are "one", at least in blood if nothing else, yes? For those of you who are wondering... don't. You wouldn't believe it if I told it to you, so...)
For those of you who've heard about the Farkelmeister's "abilities" with the "ebonies and ivories"... well, all I can say is... if you haven't heard, then you don't know the HALF of it. Pure genius. And I am not attempting flattery. There are some who are good at it... and then there are some who are good at it. My dear brother D. falls in the latter category truly.. Talk about "soothing" even the savagest of beasts... the word "awesome" doesn't even come close.
D., you know how I feel about what you should be doing with it and where, but I totally understand your reluctance to "make it [your] life" it as some do. Truly, I do. Just so's you know, I gave a friend a listen... and he was, well... awestruck, of course. Personally, I adore it. Please... send more? (Check your email!)
Peace be with you, my brother. And as always, may JAH bless!
Your servant and friend,
Shel
may you have peace!
I hear you... and understand you. Yet, I am... what I am. That all I can be.
Peace to you!
A slave of Christ,
SJ
YOUR servant, dear Ms. Mouthy (peace to you!).
For by your enduring love... and undying faith... indeed, your "fruits"... you PROVE to me... who you truly are: loyal Israel... to all of whom I am a servant.
Your fellow slave of Christ,
SJ
Good question, Celtic, I can relate to your sentiment; and good answers in this thread. Personally, I would love to hear more about what AGuest wrote re: the printed "Word" only being Moses/Psalms/Prophets/Revelation. Whoa! You mean no more Paul/Peter/James/John/Acts/Gospels/Proverbs/etc. etc.?? That would certainly take a load of guilt off, always feeling guilty for not reading the Bible page after page, but only checking out scriptures at gospel.com now and then. :-/
Like everyone, I always thought reading scripture was THE "approved and sanctioned by God" WAY to get to know Jesus, so I am a bit flabberghasted at this 'news' about the entire Bible, but am always willing to hear/learn more, specially since I've never heard this before.
Jesus being the 'audible WORD,' however, makes good sense. In my 'old age,' I don't fancy reading books much anymore, and like the idea of communicating in "audible word" and "in spirit." Will Jesus teach us whichever scriptures he might really WANT us to know/remember from those other books, etc.?
Putting a little more life-span into this thread...
Grits
