Rabbit....That lines from a film! (thats got be bugged now)

    I guess you meant "me."

Yes...I think just about anyone here knows that, scoob. I took the 'liberty' to add the word "Love".

So...at the risk of being baited...why are you 'bugged' now ? You asked a very good complicated question. I answered in a very simple way, that I believe, answered your question in full. I had "life" before JW's, after JW's, before JWD and if it ever sadly happens...I will have "life" & "love" after JWD.

    Simple.

!....What a STUPID QUESTION AND ANOTHER CROCK OF SHIITE FROM SCOOBY....*sighs* lame lame lame..

Thank you for setting that precedent. May I use your tone and expression as an example of acceptable behavior when responding to hypothetical questions?

    Sincerely,

I didn't have this board--or really any communication--when I was trying to leave many years ago. I actually got out the phonebook and called a number in there for ex-JW's. Talked to a really nice guy (turns out I actually knew him from years ago). I cannot say he provided a lot of on-going support, but at least it was a start.

People will end up doing what they need to do. This board provides a great deal of support that pepole who were leaving years ago never got. I'm sure people here would be tremendously resourceful in continuing to network to get the support they need.

And it's NOT just the JW board. These boards/support groups online networks exist in vitually ALL aspects of life. Sorry to disappoint, but this type of communication isn't going to suddenly disappear.

and it was a very good reply Rabbit to my question. Simple but eloquent.

I was only bugged coz I couldn't remember the film that line was from until Urban told me....not because I was bugged with you!

See how complicated screen things can be!

Thats what I was alluding to in my original question, I saw Minimus getting very cross about a parody of him out on the service with Farkel...... To me I'd see it as a compliment that someone could be as pleasant in their parody of me, without the usual stuff. But when this does happen I learn now to not lose my rag so much or switch the screen off and think well its only a forum, and a few that type that. It doesn't make me have a hissy fit anymore. Despite some good mates on here, my life is out there.

    Or something like that.

you would have no way of contacting anyone on here that you may have done before or do now, you would be left as you stand now, still with your family and friends, work colleagues in whatever capacity you enjoy them in real life, but without those you now know onscreen through this forum.

You make it sound as if this placed closed down, we'd all be really left in the dark with no life. I have plenty of friends outside this Forum. I survived BEFORE I found this place and I'd survive without it. Many hear communicate through the mail, phone, and personal contact. People who have become close to others here would not lose their close friends.

An elder told me onetime when I had to fill an elders responsibilities that voids are always filled. If you put your hand in a bucket of water and pull your hand out......is there a void? No....it just fills back in. That'sd what would happen here......the void would be replaced by something else in a persons life.
