Let's see here Pork Chop . Iraq had the 2nd largest oil reserve in the world and was only allowed to sell enough oil for food , Now if you were a nation who needed oil supplies , what would you do ? A-- lie about WOMD and hope the US liberates the oil ? B -- Hope the UN changes it's mind on the resolutions no matter how long that might take ?

Accusing Saddam of having weapons of mass destruction is like accusing Czar of having beer in his fridge. Now, if you kicked down the door TONIGHT you'd be wrong - I'm out of money. BUT, almost any point during the past eight days, you would have been awed by my widespread collection of Bottle Of Alcohol Consumption! And after I get paid on Friday, guess what? I'll have beer again! So, if the FBI was watching my house and wanted to confiscate my beer, they'd better not bust in and do it tonight. But if they'd hit me last Friday or this Friday, they'd be right! Why? I LIKE BEER!

So, Saddam liked his chemical, biological, and other weapons. We just kicked down the door at the wrong time to catch him at it. But believe me, the guy likes his deathtoys like I like a nice cool Yuengling or Rolling Rock.

How's that for a SAT analogy? Saddam is to WMD what CZAR is to:

    a) Czarina b) Beer c) Jehovah's Witnesses d) Money

The answer is b - Beer is something I have sometimes when I can afford it.

a is not the answer because the czarina I have not ALWAYS had but will always have from now on.

c is not the answer because Jehovah's Witnesses are something I USED to be associated with but NEVER will again!

d is not the answer because I've never had money in any quantities (because of a, b, and c) and never will, either.

    CZAR

Then we can talk about his stance of claming to be a decorated war veteran (which he is and which we applaud him for doing that) and then vilifying the very war he brags that he served so valiantly fighting for.

If you can't get your mind around that pov, then you aren't trying very hard Farkel.

Oh, but he had a good reason to vilify the war: he actually committed "war atrocities" which he admitted to. But yet he should be honored for his service. And he's attempting to dishonor others who did not serve.

Right. Gettin' chills up and down my spine just thinking of his patriotism!!!

You obviously are not aware of the facts. This has nothing to do with WAR strategy. The accusation was that Bush was allegedly making a "secret deal" to reduce oil prices right before the election. The funny thing was Prince Bandar has discounted the "accusation." He pointed to his working with prior admins/presidents to reduce oil prices--even back to Carter. He said it was an effort to pull the US out of the "malaise," essentially of the economic disaster that characterized Carter's whole administration. Again, much ado about nothing.

I think it just shows the pathetic, desperate attempts the left is become to reduced to in their attempts to regain control.

Hee-Hee. Neo-Cons are SO cute when they spout their company line.

    simon,

This gem just caught my eye. It is precious.

: Even so, I think Kerry would be a better president because Bush has been an abysmal failure.

Do you understand how simply absurd that statement is? Let me illustrate: "I think Hitler would make a better President than Bush because Bush has been an abysmal failure." Your argument consists of the idea that ANYONE is better than Bush, and that bespeaks your prejudice and hatred of him. Is ANYONE better than Bush, simon? If you think that to be true, then please explain your answer. If not, then if you think that Kerry would be a better President than Bush, then please explain your answer, WITHOUT expressing anything about Bushand why you don't like him, but with some logic and why you think makes Kerry the better choice. I'll bet you and Mike Hooper a beer, you cannot come up with any reasonable answer. Mike Hooper wouldn't take this bet. That's why I love the guy. He's not rabid about such things. He's lived a LOT longer than you and a little longer than me and he's seen all the political nonsense in his life, foreign and domestic. So have I.

    It's all bullshit, anyway.

Prince Bandar is on RECORD for saying that all admins since Carter (god help him) DID exactly the same thing? What's "company line" about that?

Beyond that, the "company line" you seem to be spewing is the liberal crap that has no other effect than to undermine our nation. You think it's cute to subvert our country, to take sides with terrorists.
