Can anyone tell me how to do the toner?

Just put it through like shampoo and use the same amount. But you leave it in for about 10 minutes. It should have instructions - or just get a hair dresser to do it and it doesnt cost too much.

oh hon... im so sorry, I totally know how you feel

About two years ago I added "highlights" to my hair with disastrous results as well. Fortunately its all grown out now and back to normal. But for about four months I had to wear bandannas and hats all the time. My hair was fried, it was awful.

Take a deep breath. Have a drink. And go get some help from a professional hairdresser.

Awwww. I'm sorry to hear this! I LITERALLY fried my hair once in Japan--leaned over a gas space heater, hoping to help my hair dry a little quicker in the uninsulated cold apartment... It's really distressing (dis-tressing? ...) isn't it?

The good news is, with all the rainbow variety of colors people dye their hair ON PURPOSE these days, no one will likely think twice about the color. Who knows, you might catch some compliments.

I just spoke with the "experts" at Clairol about my hair. They told me how to fix it with a color that tones down and counteracts orangish yellow......

I'm just so scared but I know it is going to cost a lot to go to the woman who does my hair to have it fixed. I guess what I'm asking is do you guys think I should trust Clairol?

I'm glad you asked us guys...No..do not trust a person with a silly name like Clairol...What kind a freakin name is that...somewhere between Clair and Carol...How can you trust someone who can't even decide on their name.
