Blue, voting is ok too but not for us.....I betcha they tell people motorcycles are ok in Africa but "true Christians" in the big city wouldn't ride one.

Let's see you drive a Viper or Ferrari to all the meetings. Ride a custom chopped motorcycle to all the social events. Don't wear a tie to the meetings. Grow a goatee or a beard. Wear gold chains (over your shirt, ala Mr. T). Go see Kill Bill at the movies tonight and then go to the service meeting and tell everyone you see what a great movie it was. Go out on a guys nite with people from work and hit the local strip clubs and brag about it to your service partner this Saturday. Go dancing with some girls from work and tell your elder friends how much fun you had. Read Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz and comment to the elders how you liked it or didn't like it. Do all that and see if nobody cares.

The point is, there is a corridor of indiviuality as a witness but it's very narrow. Go too far off that path and you will be looked down on, counseled or marked if you refuse to comply. I don't mind being looked down on by certain people because they don't like my car or suit, but if you believe in your religion, why would you want to go so far off the santioned path of behavior if you know it will get you in trouble?

If you ignore posters like Who Cares, they will go away. Attention getting is what they're all about, so why feed into it? This was the most interesting thread title I'd seen in a while and it quickly degraded into a foodfight. Why not just pretend posts like that don't exist?
