Cloud , I dont know you , and I said that my first impression of you , were you were just a troll, and I do know that I could be wrong. I sure hope so, but being on discussion boards for awhile now, I have seen some come in talking things that only upset others here.
Please stay awhile and see what we are all about, then you may just understand why we are angry and hurt over things that happened in our JW life.
You will soon see that , for an example, that 99% of us did not get to play sports in school, hang with anyone but who our JW parents choose us to hang with, didnt get to go to the mall alone, movies, skating, or whatever. We didnt go to prom, or dances at all, we didnt get to be on the homecoming court, we didnt get to ride our horses in the local riding club. I know some did, and some of us got away with some things for awhile until the elders , and C O's came down on them.
I am curious to know, are you an active witness? and does the WT's still say you extreamly careful with the internet? I really do want to know, if they are still promoting the no internet thing.

No thank you very much but I'll pass on that one, I have a feeling that I'm wasting my time here.
I get angry to (yes Jehovah's Wittnesses get angry to.....we are human).......I feel sorry for the people who say that the are mistreaded by their parents, but there are "normal" people to who screw up the childhood of their kids because they believe something is the right thing.
I think parents rais their children not the congregation, everybody has a free will.
So about that brainwashing thing I hear about frequently what Bull..... is that? don't accept everything you hear you are not a zombie
People who feel brainwashed won't hold long as a JW, being a Witness for live only is posible when YOU stand behind it (when its realy YOUR choice).

care to explain that statement? people don't "feel" brainwashed...they GET brainwashed...
If people want to vent here then people who defend the WTBTS should have all thier spiritual armor on...they will need it.

Yes I'm an active witness with a good reputation, and yes it is still said that it is not wise to go to sites or forums like these, but it is not forbidden (and it can't be because we al have a free will like I said before).

Oh yeah.....do they realy? everyone with a common sence will see if something is right or wrong, you can only brainwash someone who is weakminded (no offence meant by that).
Yes but in order to do so they must stand behind it and make a choice, otherwise the "armor" is useless.

Weak minded? How simplistic is that? Are you telling me smart people wouldn't bite at the thought of a furtherance of thier earthly hopes? Most of the brilliant minds in our world have been religious if not spiritual people. Try again please...Oh and JWs are always talking about thier "spiritual armor"...and how it helps them defend thier faith in the face of "persecution"...Perhaps you checked your's at the door....

I dont accept everything I hear or heard,( apply that to the JW teachings) I am not a zombie,,,, at least now I am not......
Believe it or not Cloud I was just like you,,,,,,,,way back on my about.com JW chat room days. Good lord, I stood behind my religious beliefs I was raised in to the death.
I am just thankful that I listened to others opinions on things, and then I formed my own opinon on what I believed and things I knew for a FACT were true. That is why I am here today. If you don't want to be swayed from you firm JW beliefs, you better not read the things that are proven by documents and eyewitness testimony. But if you don't want to believe it or see it you wont. I was sincere, by the way in my invitation for you to stick around and read alittle here.
You dont even have to let anyone know you are doing it. I truly believe that our faith , our beliefs should be able to stand agaisnt anything , if it is true. Check your faith out , you are not testing your faith by doing that , you are only going to prove to yourself that you are right.......or ya might see you are wrong,
Anyways,,,,,,,,,hope you understand that we do want all of those who question us to at least take a look at thngs before you write it all off .
