Sitting in it but out of it mentally it's quite sad that I bought into it for forty years. I was simply too trusting.
It's gang mentality. Our gang is better than all the other gangs. We'll present our version of the facts and all will agree. Because why would you disagree? Don't you want to be in the best gang?

It seems like there's potential for a good comment about Jehovah NOT having an organization for the 2000 years since Jesus was here. At paragraph 9. But then again, why bother? Even though these people go around telling the public that Jehovah is an organized God and the He has always had an organization, they won't even hear a comment like that, asked on a paragraph in the ever-true Watchtower. -

I was all ready to be subjected to the moronic answers in my hall when I found I could get round the block on our wifi that only allows you to go to jw.org. I tried using my public VPN service, VyprVPN, and found if I go through its proxy I can surf to my hearts content. I downloaded the latest New Scientist and read that instead. -

Have you all read this weeks study article?- Stuckinrut
Now I have been out for over a year now, I can't read the articles any more. I used to keep up to date as my son is still going to meetings. But since he has said he doesn't want to be a JW, I have stopped reading them.
To be honest they really make me feel sick. Stuck, I don't know how you keep doing what you're doing. I suppose you can let off steam on this site but the meetings are really causing you grief.
