INTERESTING, Here in South Carolina the Church has grown by 16% in the last 5 years, not too shabby...wonder how the Witnesses are doing.

Amazing, it looks like you don't know anything about those numbers. The Catholic Church counts baptized infants as members. And the Mormons count missing people, and if there's no proof of death, they count that person as a member until they reach 110 years of age. For both Mormons and Southern Baptists, 50% of those members are inactive.

What's wrong with counting baptized babies, they are members. Just like the Society counts every head in the building form Memorial attendence.

JWs baptize 6 year olds, what's the diff? A JW can be inactive 5 months, count 1 hour (15 minutes if you are elderly) for the 6th, be inactive for 5 months, and count 1 hour for the 6th and be counted among the 6 million plus. 2 hours (1/2 hour if you are elderly) in 12 months, hmmmmmmm?

    Jokere10,

I don't know if you are joking or a brain-dead moron - but, I sense you are joking.

Amazing, it looks like you don't know anything about those numbers. The Catholic Church counts baptized infants as members.
Those "infants" are people who grow up to continue to be Catholic ... in my case, I eventually left the Church. Nonetheless, the Catholic Church does not count inactive members in their ranks when reporting their membership. The only time a baby is counted is if its parents bring the baby to church. Th only purpose of counting infant baptism is that the Church wold treat me as Catholic were I to return.
And the Mormons count missing people, and if there's no proof of death, they count that person as a member until they reach 110 years of age.
I know that Mormons have baptism for the dead, but I never heard of counting them in their active membership. And the 110 year thing is new to me.
For both Mormons and Southern Baptists, 50% of those members are inactive.
I can't agree, especially in the case of Southern Baptists. However ... here is the proof ... MONEY ... if all those members were missing, dead, or babies, then where does all that money come from? The Catholic Church is wealthy beyond the Watchtower's wildest dreams as are the Mormons and the Southern Baptists are doing quite well. AND ... every time I have visited a church, be it Catholic, Mormon, Baptist, pentecostal, Presbyterian, Christian Reform, etc. their services are full, and they are growning, talking about expanding the church building, or buying more property to build ... and they are hiring more pastors, and increasing the number of Sunday services ... so, Great Babylon as the Watchtower likes to label the chruches, is doing anything but drying up.

How do these print facilities compare to Wallkill (did I spell that right)? An organization could not grow so fast without a large, dedicated following. All since 1977.

How does store this compare to a Kingdom Hall book counter? Again, this store would not survive without a large market.

jnat, I could be wrong but I think FOF contracts out it's printing. And the magazines are sold at regular subscription rate...and not studied like the bible in church services...nor do they define a particular denomination...so, I don't think they compare.
