I have not watched the vid, and have seen very few of the prison torture/humiliation pics.

Pleasure, You blame the FBI for this? They offered him a plane ride, he said no.
I vote get out. Shut the doors and the check book and leave the rest of the world to kill each other.
Donkey, The problem with that idea is that they've already come here. Better to fight them there, then here, with our kids and families.

Yeru,
I am not about being BETTER than the bad guy. Whimpy idiots always tell me to take the high path.
Fight them with bombs not soldiers. They want to kill OUR women and children then i have no issue with massive collateral damage occurring. What we have now is a mess. In Iraq...get out. Next time they do anything on our soil then make glass out of them. This war is an exercise in futility. We are not fighting terror - just wasting money.

Whoa there [deleted]. You're feeling the fear of terrorism, and so you want to take your stress levels down by killing innocent babies? And you call other people "whimpy"???????????????????????????????????????????????
Y'know, if a terrorist ever did cut your head off, Donkey, we couldn't really say you didn't have it coming after your comment, could we?

I watched the tape because I felt that I should. It bothered me but, it should bother me. I wanted to know. I wanted to see. It sickened and appalled me; as it should have. If nothing else I want to be informed of the direction this war is taking. I want to know the details and I am unafraid to know them. It's important that the American public knows the unaldultertated truth of this war. No sugar coated details...
It's important to realize that this is the result of what is happening. It is important to realize that this is a bi-product of this war. I hope everyone watches it and is sickened. To hide behind a pretense and pretend that this is not a normal bi-product of this war is silly and stupid. What did you expect?

Yes, we are at war, a war that was declard on us, not just Americans, but all Westerners, over 20 years ago. This is nothing new, such human garbage has been doing this to people like you and me since they declared this war. They wish to fight us and kill us over there and in our own homeland. There is no vaccuum, we must fight them and eliminate them or risk the ending of our very way of life. This is what is at stake, a war that has been happening for over 20 years and which will take much more than 20 more years to run its course. It is a war of idiologies as much as it is of bombs and bullets. This is a war we must fight and win if human civilization is to move forward.

What exactly are you saying? Should we eliminate all Middle Eastern people? Only the one's who live in the Middle East? The fundamentalist Muslims are indeed scary but, where do you draw the line? I think all fundamentalists are creepy but, I don't wish to eliminate them. Just realize that you are very close to hate speech. I don't have a problem with it but, others might. I realize that reactionisim is a normal bi-product of war. Thanks for answering my questions if you have time...

WHAT????
Where did RT say any of that? How the hell is he colse to hate speech? He's talking about eliminating the threat from the fundamentalists.
Where is that wrong? Yes, azzie, we are at war. Whether you have a problem with Iraq (which I personally do) We still have Al Queda to fight, and they are who is doing this. I'm sure RT realizes that all middle easterners are not fundamentalist jerks. But the ones who are doing these things, and inciting it, need to be contained, and or eliminated. Not all of the middle east. If that's hate speech, I guess I'm guilty too. .

That's what they say isnt it. I had a neighboor who is/was an FBI agent who said "Im getting out because their is too much corruption." They say, "He committed suicide," in his office no less. He had two beautiful kids, a beautiful wife, a beautiful house in a nice neighborhood, right accross the street from the pool, excellent referrences and a bright future. Makes sense to me.
The problem with that idea is that they've already come here. Better to fight them there, then here, with our kids and families.
Ah, yes the old ignore them in your backyard and fight them 10,000 miles away instead trick. But seriously donkey Iraq makes an excellent jump off point to control the middle east and would be the new prime target of a nuclear strike by terrorists based on ease of access, taking the heat off of Washington and New York. We can't pull out. On top of that if it all works out our image in the region would be much better.
