the US embargo has indeed killed nearly a million people in iraq.

besides if you are so concerned about the survival of the Nkoreans than make food donations!

No one has still answered the obvious questions:

If Saddam *did* have hidden stockpiles of weapons then why not give the order to use them against his greatest foe when being invaded?

What is the point in having them if you don't use them even when being attacked?

Of course the simple answer, as we know, is that he didn't have them which fits the facts about the inspectors too.

It killed a million people? Thats funny, I guess food was more expensive that building matterials because Saddam sure found a way to keep building palaces. Stop blamming the US for Saddams cruelty.

the oil for food program started 4 years after the war was over. at this point the people had already died. besides many medical supplies were still limited to a point that killed people. as a result some 800.000 died.

stop blaming hussein for the cruelty of the US gov!

the answer to that "if" question is pretty simple. saddam needed world opinion on his side when the coalition invaded. by using wmds in the war, nearly 100% (id guess) of world opinion wouldve instantly shifted to the position that the u.s. was taking, that saddam needed to be ousted......and he still wouldve lost the war.

And if Kim Suck Dong of N. Korea would stop spending all his cash on Nukes and his Military then his people wouldnt be starving. But im sure somehow you will blame that on the U.S. to.

certainly. but a war with NK would cost a lot more peoples lives that the war with hussein. iraq was a military joke. NK is not.

you are missing a couple of importants facts. first i do NOT blame the US for what hussein actually did. secondly i do not blame the US for what the NK gov. does. BUT i do blame the US for supporting each and every dictator as long as they support their cause and after they get inconvenient they are turned into devils and removed with the loss of thousands of inncent lives - all for the sake of US industry lobbiest. that combined with the sickening empty phrases about bringing democracy, freedom, wealth and prosperty to the world is what aggrevates me about the US!
