The Watchtower tells us that those that leave become deranged, immoral persons. The only "good" people ae in the organization....That's it!!

My molester is still in the organization, still unrepentant.

Morality is what makes us respectful of others and ourselves. To illustrate, personally, I don't care if you get bombed, it's not for me, but I do mind if you are drunk and drive.

As a teenager I did alot of things that were "wrong" and could get disfellowshipped or disciplined for it. So you could say at that time I lived immorally. But no one ever knew. Now I think I live a normal life. (and of course my normal, is opposite to what the JW consider normal.)

I realized as an elder that most Witness families had at least one person disciplined either privately or publicly for "immorality" or some other "sin".

Being a card carrying lesbian left wing tree hugging liberal, I absolutely would be disfellowshipped. But who cares? Doesn't impact me whatsoever. Still, I believe I am a very moral person. I am absolutely monogomous, I'm honest, I volunteer when I can and ensure that I pass a little of what I have (very little) to those less fortunate. So, all in all, as others have said, I believe that I am absolutely more moral than the WTS who condones child abusers due to their extreme patriarchy.

I would say that my morals have improved . . . not that they were so bad to begin with.

Was Df'd once, reinstated and if they ever "caught" me I would most certainly be Df'd again.
