All these heavy loads from the task masters, and you will STILL grow old and die.

All those who have died are all still dead

    Ok another snippet.

Ozzie I don't know if this is the case downunder but.....

For the first time, as far as I am aware....all the attendees in the UK have had to sign a form similar to a NDA. banning them from either recording any of the seminar, copying the course notes, and also agreeing to hand the course manual back in, if they come off "their extended responsibilities".

It seems the GB are terrified of the info getting on to the internet.

Makes sense... that's been the WTS rule for some time, but now they're trying to legally bind the elders, kind of like scientology.

Just for a bit of contrast:

w99 3/1 18 The city?s gates on all sides, one for each tribe, well illustrate openness. Today, God?s people are not under some secretive, clandestine administration. Responsible brothers are to be approachable; the principles that guide them are well-known to all.
    Speaks for itself, I think.

Euph. Now that's a Gem. And bang on about the Scientology tie-in. WTBTS is becoming even more paranoid about secretism.

That is the nature of a cult, or high-control group, written and unwritten rules.

    Very good quote.

    Caspian,

: It seems the GB are terrified of the info getting on to the internet.

The GB should be terrified. Would you consider it unreasonable that an apostate who has been out for some time could get a ticket and ID to a top secret elders school held by the WTS, and attend it and actually record every word that was said in it?

Well, it happened. There are many good elders who will share information with "demonized apostates" because they know how corrupt their religion really is. Their only fault is that they think they can change it from the inside. In this they err. The only logic the WTS leaders understand is when they are on the receiving end of a sledgehammer pounding on their incredibly thick and arrogant skulls.

It is surprisingly easy get into the Elders KMS, however for these 10 week MTS for the travelling overseers, there are only between 20 and 30 students all who are personally known by the instructors. So it is a little harder I suppose. It seems that for each of these 10 weeks courses there are 2 observers from Patteson.....the plot thickens!!!

On to your point about elders who share information whilst still "in the troof", you may remember that I posted a complete review of the last supplemetries held 18 months ago. before I resigned as an elder, I am sure that there are still plenty who are in the same position that I was.

Ozzie?...what happened to my review of the elders course why did Amazing move it into the mods area?????. I always thought it was a good review of the GB mind control

your subject line makes sense if "revolting" is either a verb or an adjective

And Brooklyn seriously believes that drumming the trash found in the Daniel and Isaiah books -- arguably three of thier worst-ever books and almost universally detested by even loyal JWs-- into the heads of their traveling enforcers is ``just what is needed" to equip the to meet the spiritual needs of the organization? Scary indeed.

Then again, being made to sit through the agony of hours of that drivel could rightly be considered ``just punishment" and couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of guys!
