Thanks for sharing that. I think that all JW youths have secrets, and the ones that really believe in it are always telling themselves that things will be different from now on. But I can't imagine how torn you must have felt trying to fit yourself into the "one size fits all" JW mould.
I am glad that you have the support of your mum. Although your sexuality is hard for your dad to deal with - he has not shut you out either.

Thanks so much for the replies. You know after I read each one, I kept thinking I must reply, they were really heartfelt and kind, but it would take me ages to reply to each persons post individually. Its not laziness, its just that I wouldn't know where to start in replying individually.

Ahhh Scoob...... You're one of my favorite little animals on this board. Thank you so much for sharing. I have the same feeling as the others that posted. I love reading these kind of posts, especially your's. It's great to understand what makes you you. It also helps me as a person to be more kind and tolerant towards others situations. I hope someone in a similar situation as yours will read your posts and gain strength from them YOu rock!!!
