Mulan, I don't envy any elder that decides to take this up and cross swords with you and BigRed.
You know, perhaps the elders are afraid of strong, intelligent women. The ones that come to mind are Mulan, Blonde, and Nina (cruzanheart) and there are many others on this board who can hold their own with anyone. Maybe they (elders) will be afraid to take this any further, if not they will probably run into a buzz saw. Bug
I can't wait till next Christmas! Thanks to my handy congregation phone-and-address list, it will be Christmas cards for all! Yippee! I think I might even sing Christmas songs at the meetings while the stupid dubbies sing their dumb songs!
I think they might be more afraid of Dave than of me. He can make them wish they never opened their mouths.
I can do that too, but he is always one step ahead of them, knowing what they will ask, since he was an elder too. I'm learning the ropes, but he already knows them.
I am glad you are not fearing a phone call or letter from them.

I doubt they would write a letter about that. I think Dave would invite them over here if they wanted to talk to us. We go back and forth about whether we would actually attend a JC. I am not inclined to do it, but Dave might, just for the fun of it.
I suspect they will let it go. The current CO has told all of them to back off on us, so I think they will as long as my mother is alive. As Princess said, they don't want to have the responsibility of fully dealing with her, and since she would never cut us off, they may leave us alone until she dies. A few more years there I think. Even though she is almost 92, she is in relatively good health except for osteoporosis, so who knows? Her people live well into their 90's. Her sister is 90 this month, and has smoked her entire adult life, and is doing well.

I wouldn't put it past those poor crazy bastards to have sat in front of your house with binoculars to see some christmas lights or anything to catch you.
Isn't it odd that they tell publishers they can quietly leave the Organisation with no rebuttle from them........yet they will break their necks to bust those who do just that? When you go to your JC meeting, have dave show up in a Santa Clause suit for the meeting. The worst thing they can do is ask him to go home and change first, then he can tell them to kiss his ass if they don't like his clothes.
Hey .......I'd be glad it's over......if it is. You have had this hanging over your head too long. Perhaps if they do DA/DF you.......other dub friends of your will tell them to kiss their arse also. It happens.
BTW.......You have a wonderful family. Man.....Steve's face is really red and shiny when he drinks.....and Rachael......she just sits there and grins alot when she drinks. She has a nice.....a ...........a.......a......build .

I think he is a peeping Tom and was hoping to catch sight of something or someone in varioius stages of nudity. He was appalled as a good christian that you had a christmas tree.
