I have no doubt that there are pedaphiles in the borg. I just find it difficult to believe that there is the type of group activity. I mean the depths of deprevity of human beings obviously can be very low. (Burning one's own children in sacrificial fire, for example) But in my innocent little mind I always figured that pedaphiles were persons who kept a secret all to themselves (and their victims, of course) and did not dare share such a perversion with anyone
Nope. There are "groups" of these bastards, Child molestation rings even on the internet. One guy was recently arrested for molesting his 11 mo. old daughter, filming it, then selling it to the other guys in his pedophile ring. These bastards do work together.

Usually, people with the same hobby tend to hang out with people of like interests....or, at least, have a sense of radar who's of like thinking with them.
Look at all the groups around us - there's a gathering of nearly every kind - and those are the legal types of activities. There are gatherings of drug users, sales for guns, yada yada.
So why is it such a stretch that persons who have a sexual interest in children might occasionally form small groups/friendships/whatever?
Obviously, not all do this..........but to say it's not done is unrealistic. Human nature likes company.
As for this specific case? I hope the young woman involved can get away from the jw's and gets some counseling....and finds peace.

I don't condone lying, but than neither do I condone hiding pedophilia to save face. Of the hundreds of abuse cases within JWs, how many have proven to be lies? Only a few like this one. And it is good that the lies be exposed. It has happened within Catholicism as well. Some priests have been exonerated from accusations. That's good and well. But that doesn't diminish the pedophilia problem. It must be dealt with, not hiding it or pretending that it doesn't exist.

Andrew Vachss is one of my heroes. He uses the proceeds from his many novels to fund his work hunting down child molesters. He is one of the greats, who fights for the children. Thanks for posting that.

When She Found Out My Daughters And I Leave Lambs Now And Again As We Feel Like It At Kingdom Halls In Our County She Ran Home And Returned With Every Book Andrew Vachss Had Ever Published.
She Is An Avid Fan Of His And Worships The Ground He Walks On?..And His Dogs!
She Also Begged To Accompany Us On Our Lamb Drop Offs!
I Have To Say I Admire Andrew Vachss Work In Helping Children But Being A Victim Myself I Couldn?t Finnish His Novels. They Gave Me Nightmares And Made Me Even More Over Protective Of My Children Then I Already Am??And I Am?..Over Protective.
Truthfully I Have Always Hoped He Would Write Something About The JW Abuse But I Haven?t Seen Anything Thus Far.

They do. I lived it until age 5. Does that mean there are organized groups or some sort of national/international conspiracy? Nope. But sex groups, even for sex with children, do exist. To think otherwise is a dangerous way to stay in denial.
I'm not familiar with this story, so I don't pretend to know who is lying and who is telling the truth. It's probably best to let the story play out and see where the chips fall.
