That's new to me, although I can quite believe it. I wonder how widespread the use of that expression is?
Of course, since they don't have a relationship with Jesus nor are encouraged to do so, then they can be satisfied with visiting his office, I s'pose.

I thought I was being gentle. At the same time, I wanted to call him on his statement. We both know that when JW's claim to have researched different religions, what they really mean in most cases is that they've read articles about those religions in the Watchtower or in Mankind's Search for God. His remark about trinitarians not acknowledging Jesus as the Son of God (as if his being the Son of God somehow eliminates the possibility of his being God himself) was so far off the mark that I question whether he has really ever heard anyone say it, or whether Watchtower distortions have created in his mind the idea that it is something trinitarians would say. Anyway, if my response came off as being sharp or offensive, I certainly didn't intend it that way.
And what the hell is with that phrase they use at the end of every prayer "throught THE OFFICE of your son Jesus Christ?

Jesus is the means through which JWs offer prayer; that is his function. That is what it is meant by the office of Jesus. Nothing different from what mainstream Christians do.

lol always about age. I forgot all about this thread. We all make mistakes when I said christian literature I meant christian people. and not all I don't try to generalize. Just heard it from alot of people.
