It's all very well the WTS giving the instruction, but the reality is they DO tun to the Watchtower magazine as their final authority. Give an elder the choice of the Bible and a bound volume and he'll choose the bound volume every time!

As an aside, I wonder why they feel it necessary to even give such an instruction? I wonder why?

How much better it is for Mrs Ozzie and I to not have to worry about what a book says when we want to simply read the Bible. We've found it is possible to be with people who only look to the Bible - yet the WTS claims it isn't. Clearly their reasoning is based on the tenuousness of their teachings.

Instead of saying, "the Society teaches," many Witnesses prefer to use such expressions as, "the Bible says" or, "I understand the Bible to teach."

I like how they imply......."many witnesses" which is a hint to all dubs they better do the same.

I wonder how many people would understand the bible to mean what the witnesses says it means? My guess would be none.

I never knew that it was the Bible that said that you can't have blood transfusions or that the Bible says that you can have blood fractions.

I didn't know the Bible said that you can't vote and then later says you can and then says you can't again.

I didn't know the Bible says that you can't have vasectomys then you can and then you cant.

I never knew that the Bible said that heart transplants were canibalism and you can't have one.It also says that you can have heart transplants.

I didn't know that the Bible said that "The Generation" is the generation of 1914 or that The Generation is not the generation of 1914, its just a generation of wicked people.

I never knew it was the Bible that said that a woman must scream when raped or she will be disfellowshipped or that it was the Bible that says she doesn't have to scream and then later says that she does have to scream.

I could go on and on but they can't blame their lame ass teachings,rules and new light on the Bible.

THE WATCHTOWER said these things.

Wake up JWs. Your being F*%#ed with and made fools of by men. God has nothing to do with this contradictory, disorganized,mess!
